Asset Controller

About the Role

SPARK Logistics is seeking an Asset Controller to join their team in Abqaiq (Buqayq). This full-time role is suitable for candidates with 2-5 years of experience in asset management, facilities management, or engineering support. The Asset Controller will be responsible for maintaining accurate asset records and contributing to the effective management and control of company assets.

Role Overview

The Asset Controller will focus on maintaining precise asset records, tracking asset movements, and conducting regular asset verification. This position also involves supporting asset documentation and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with company procedures and contributing to overall asset integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the asset register, ensuring proper classification, tagging, and recording of assets.
• Conduct periodic physical asset verification and reconcile records with the asset management system.
• Track asset movements, transfers, allocations, and disposals.
• Maintain asset documentation, including manuals, warranties, certificates, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure asset records are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare asset inventory and status reports.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company asset management procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Business, Logistics, or a related field; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in asset tracking systems and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of procurement and inventory management practices.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness.
• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Preferred Certifications

Certifications such as IAM Certificate in Asset Management, CAMA, SAP PM / IBM Maximo Training, or ISO 55001 Awareness are considered advantageous for this role.
