At the National Water Company (NWC), we are committed to providing exemplary water and wastewater services. We are currently seeking a Procurement Senior Specialist to join our team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who possess a strong background in supply chain management.

Overall Purpose:
The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of the company’s applicable rules related to supply chain management and understand their importance to support our business objectives.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Contribute to the development of supply chain strategy and manage related initiatives/projects.
  • Establish annual departmental goals and objectives in coordination with corporate objectives.
  • Ensure effective and sustainable relationships with key suppliers/vendors.
  • Drive the development of RFPs according to business needs and lead their evaluation and contract negotiation.
  • Present the supply chain status to NWC management and keep them informed about issues and mitigation actions.
  • Regularly update market knowledge for certain products.
  • Secure purchases in line with defined quality standards.

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum Experience: 3+ years in procurement or supply chain roles.
