Introduction: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QC Inspector with expertise in the steel coil and tube mill industry, specializing in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality control processes, including NDT techniques, and will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of steel coils and tubes produced in the Middle East region. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the quality assurance process in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Perform procedures such as ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), eddy current testing (ET), and dye penetrant testing (DPT) to detect defects and ensure quality standards.
  • Quality Inspection & Documentation: Conduct regular inspections of steel coils and tubes and maintain thorough records of inspection results.
  • Material & Process Evaluation: Assess the quality of raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with local and international standards related to steel coil production and NDT testing.
  • Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving: Investigate quality issues and collaborate with teams to implement effective corrective actions.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Assist in training junior QC inspectors and stay updated on advancements in NDT technology.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
  • 35 years of experience as a QC Inspector in the steel coil and tube mill industry.
  • Knowledge of international standards and regulations applicable to steel coils and NDT procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment related to NDT testing.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in steel coil and tube mill production facilities in the Middle East.
  • Knowledge of advanced NDT methods or certifications.
  • Awareness of safety standards in industrial testing environments.
