As a Commercial Sales Manager - Finance at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in preparing long-term service offers, as well as operation and maintenance offers tailored for the Middle East region. Working closely with the technical sales and bid management team, you will ensure alignment with client and tender requirements and oversee contract negotiations until signed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Technical Sales Manager and bidding team to draft budgetary and firm bids.
- Manage financial and commercial activities throughout the sales phase, ensuring smooth operations.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to currency, payment terms, insurance, and compliance.
- Guide regional teams in bid structuring with a focus on transparent calculations.
- Own negotiations for commercial terms and contracts, liaising with various departments for optimal conditions.
- Provide critical input during internal project approvals and maintain quality in financial forecasts and sales reporting.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or relevant experience.
- Long-term experience in commercial bid and sales management related to construction or energy sectors.
- Expertise in bid preparation, contract negotiation, financial reporting, and risk management.
- Strong understanding of Financial Controlling and Management Accounting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
