Instructor Electronic Communication Tech

About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking an Instructor Electronic Communication Tech to join their team in Dhahran. This full-time position involves direct leadership of specialist training functions and conducting specialist training in support of TSI. The instructor will be responsible for ensuring the general welfare and monitoring the performance of students to maximize their progress towards training objectives. This role is open to Saudi Nationals Only.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and lead specialist training functions and conduct specialist training in support of TSI.
• Ensure the general welfare of students in assigned areas during training activities and monitor their performance.
• Teach common modules in the common course or any other related common module.
• Carry out analysis, design, production, development, and delivery of new and existing training courses, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
• Research, write, and validate advanced training notes.
• Deliver and supervise practical-based On-the-Job Training (OJT) and training consolidation.
• Provide specialist training inputs as a subject matter expert to the bidding process.
• Specify, design, and develop appropriate training aids, including computer-aided instruction and advanced desktop training systems.
• Produce training support materials, including curriculum, training objectives, syllabuses, course plans, and assessment methods.
• Maintain and review required levels of technical expertise to ensure compatibility with technical advances.
• Conduct cadet assessment and evaluation exercises and implement remedial action as required.
• Plan, control, and deliver assigned courses, and contribute support to cross-discipline courses/investigations.
• Counsel students regarding academic performance or behavior.
• Complete and submit cadets' weekly reports, STS, and End of Phase Reports.
• Document work as necessary, including attendance, progress reports, lesson plans, and cadets’ portfolios.
• Complete a minimum of 20 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Review the ECT courseware for improvement.
• Maintain classroom procedures as published in the TSI, including discipline.
• Keep abreast of developments in the subject and attend staff development courses as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Detailed understanding of the design and operation of complex and integrated systems, enabling theoretical and practical applications in training and operational environments.
• Ability to operate complex training aids and simulators effectively and safely.
• Supervisory ability within an operational training environment.
• Sound business awareness.
• Good interpersonal skills to teach specialist skills and knowledge across diverse cultures, status, intellect, and technical ability.
• Well-motivated, adaptable, and flexible to operate in a highly complex technical environment with minimum supervision.
• Understanding of internal and external customer requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of relevant analytical techniques.
• Ability to apply relevant internal and external processes and procedures.
• Detailed knowledge in the operation and use of IT systems to support relevant systems (computer-aided instruction, desktop publishing, databases, training development software).
• Well-developed planning and organizing skills to meet precise timings required by training programs.
• Proficiency in using the TMIS / LMS system to maintain accurate, up-to-date, comprehensive, orderly, and easily accessible training records.

Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience to effectively manage the responsibilities of this role.
