Instructor Electronic Communication Tech

About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking an Instructor Electronic Communication Tech for a full-time position in Dhahran. This role involves directing and leading specialist training functions and conducting specialist training in support of TSI. The instructor will ensure the welfare and monitor the performance of students to achieve maximum progress towards training objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and lead specialist training functions and conduct specialist training in support of TSI.
• Ensure the general welfare of students in assigned areas during training activities and monitor their performance.
• Teach common modules in the common course or any other related common module.
• Carry out analysis, design, production, development, and delivery of new and existing training courses, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
• Research, write, and validate advanced training notes.
• Deliver and supervise practical-based On-the-Job Training (OJT) and training consolidation.
• Provide specialist training inputs as a subject matter expert to the bidding process.
• Specify, design, and develop appropriate and effective training aids, including computer-aided instruction and advanced desktop training systems.
• Produce training support materials, including curriculum, training objectives, syllabuses, course plans, and assessment methods.
• Maintain and review required levels of technical expertise to ensure compatibility with technical advances.
• Conduct cadet assessment and evaluation exercises and implement remedial action as required.
• Plan, control, and deliver assigned courses, and contribute support to cross-discipline courses/investigations.
• Counsel students regarding academic performance or behavior.
• Complete and submit cadets' weekly reports, STS, and End of Phase Reports.
• Document work as necessary, including attendance, progress reports, lesson plans, and cadets’ portfolios.
• Complete a minimum of 20 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Review ECT courseware for improvement and maintain classroom procedures as published in the TSI.
• Keep abreast of developments in the subject and attend staff development courses as required.
• Liaise with support staff regarding details allied to their tasks.
• Responsible for planning and coordinating technical information to support course material delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience and demonstrate a detailed understanding of complex and integrated systems, enabling theoretical and practical applications in training and operational environments. This includes proficiency in teaching detailed maintenance procedures, fault diagnosis, and defect rectification.

• Proficiency in using the TMIS/LMS system to maintain accurate and comprehensive training records.
