About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking an Armament Technical Instructor to join their team in Dhahran. This full-time role involves providing specialist training and support, working under the direction of a senior specialist instructor. The position requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on delivering high-quality technical instruction to meet customer expectations and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct specialist training functions in support of TSI objectives.
  • Monitor student performance and welfare during training activities to ensure maximum progress.
  • Analyze, design, produce, develop, and deliver new and existing training courses, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Research, write, and validate advanced training notes.
  • Deliver and supervise practical-based On-the-Job Training (OJT) and training consolidation.
  • Provide specialist training inputs as a subject matter expert for bidding processes and training proposals.
  • Specify, design, and develop appropriate training aids, including computer-aided instruction and advanced desktop training systems.
  • Produce training support materials such as curriculum, syllabuses, course plans, and assessment methods.
  • Maintain and review technical expertise to align with advances and evolving needs.
  • Conduct student assessments and evaluations, implementing remedial actions as required.
  • Plan, control, and deliver assigned courses, contributing to cross-discipline courses and investigations.
  • Counsel students regarding academic performance or behavior.
  • Maintain classroom procedures and discipline as published in the TSI.
  • Utilize the TMIS/LMS system to maintain accurate and accessible training records.

  • Plan and coordinate technical information to support course material delivery in accordance with current documents and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Detailed understanding of the design and operation of complex and integrated systems, applicable to theoretical and practical training and operational environments (*, maintenance procedures, fault diagnosis, defect rectification).
  • Ability to operate complex training aids and simulators effectively and safely.
  • Supervisory ability within an operational training environment.
  • Sound business awareness.
  • Good interpersonal skills for teaching specialist skills and knowledge across diverse cultures, statuses, intellects, and technical abilities.
  • Well-motivated, adaptable, and flexible to operate in a complex technical environment with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of internal and external customer requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of relevant analytical techniques.
  • Ability to apply relevant internal and external processes and procedures.
  • Detailed knowledge in the operation and use of IT systems to support relevant systems (computer-aided instruction, desktop publishing, databases, training development software).
  • Well-developed planning and organizing skills to meet precise training program timings.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, within BAE Systems Saudi Arabia. The role involves working in a highly technical environment where the integration of various skills is essential to achieve primary objectives.
