Role Summary: Armament Technical Instructor

The Armament Technical Instructor is responsible for the comprehensive analysis, design, development, and delivery of training solutions related to aircraft armament systems. This full-time position, based in Dhahran, requires expertise in explosives storage, workshop practices, and flight line procedures to meet the specific needs and requirements of the Training Systems Institute (TSI). The role involves working under the direction and support of a senior specialist instructor.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and lead specialist training functions, conducting training in support of TSI objectives.
• Ensure student welfare in assigned training areas and monitor performance to achieve training objectives.
• Conduct analysis, design, production, development, and delivery of new and existing training courses, ensuring alignment with customer needs, timeframes, costs, and specifications.
• Research, write, and validate advanced training notes.
• Deliver and supervise practical On-the-Job Training (OJT) and training consolidation.
• Provide specialist training inputs as a subject matter expert for bidding processes, customer inquiries, and training proposals.
• Specify, design, and develop appropriate training aids, including computer-aided instruction and advanced desktop training systems.
• Produce training support materials such as curriculum, objectives, syllabuses, course plans, and assessment methods.
• Maintain and review technical expertise to ensure compatibility with technical advancements and evolving needs.
• Conduct student assessment and evaluation exercises, implementing remedial actions as necessary.
• Plan, control, and deliver assigned courses, contributing to cross-discipline courses and investigations.
• Counsel students regarding academic performance or behavior.
• Maintain classroom procedures as published in the TSI, including discipline.
• Stay informed of subject developments and attend staff development courses as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience and demonstrate a strong understanding of complex and integrated systems, enabling both theoretical and practical application in training and operational environments. This includes the ability to teach detailed maintenance procedures, fault diagnosis, and defect rectification.
