Lighting Sales Engineer

About the Role

Smart Solutions Group (SSG), a Saudi holding company, is seeking a Lighting Sales Engineer for its Smart Lighting Factory subsidiary. This full-time role is based in the Eastern region, with opportunities in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam. The primary objective is to drive commercial growth, secure project specifications, and expand market presence for commercial, industrial, and architectural lighting solutions.

Role Overview

The Lighting Sales Engineer will be responsible for expanding the company's reach in the lighting market by identifying and securing new projects. This involves building strong relationships with key industry stakeholders and preparing comprehensive technical and commercial proposals to ensure company products are specified in major projects.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to generate leads for new business opportunities.
• Identify, target, and secure new commercial, industrial, and architectural lighting projects across the target market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with MEP consultants, lighting designers, contractors, and architects.
• Ensure company products are specified in project vendor lists through effective relationship management.
• Review tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and architectural drawings.
• Prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals, product submittals, and lighting calculations using tools like DIALux or Relux.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and mock-ups for key decision-makers.
• Showcase value propositions and energy-efficient lighting solutions to prospective clients.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in lighting sales or a related engineering field.
• Demonstrated technical skills relevant to lighting solutions.
• Proven ability to drive commercial growth and expand market presence.
• Experience in securing project specifications within the commercial, industrial, and architectural sectors.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within Smart Lighting Factory, a subsidiary of Smart Solutions Group. The role involves working in a dynamic environment focused on expanding market presence in the Eastern region, including Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam.
