The Role of Pneudraulics Systems Technician

BAE Systems is seeking a Pneudraulics Systems Technician to join their team in Dhahran. This full-time role involves specialized maintenance and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic system components, ensuring compliance with technical standards and contributing to asset availability. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform component maintenance, including stripping, surveying, inspections, repairs, overhauls, and modifications of assets.
• Conduct standard serviceability tests on both hydraulic and pneumatic system components.
• Ensure adherence to RSAF Technical Orders and maintain good engineering practices.
• Implement strict tool control procedures.
• Maintain and utilize industrial equipment (test rigs) within the Pneudraulics Bay.
• Manage and report spare part requirements using the GoldESP system or similar platforms, proactively highlighting "Nil-Stock" or "low balance" items.
• Execute TCTOs and Special Inspections as directed.
• Collaborate closely with BAESAI to complete directed tasks, ensuring immediate asset availability.
• Report and encourage expedient Error Management Reporting, addressing safety concerns immediately.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in TSS service delivery.

Individual Accountabilities

The technician is responsible for managing their own:

• Time and Attendance
• Mandatory Training
• Competencies and Authorizations
• Saudi Council of Engineering membership
• Leave usage in accordance with company policy

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in pneudraulics systems maintenance or a related technical field. A strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic system components, along with adherence to technical orders and safety procedures, is essential for this role.
