Information Security Engineer

About the Role

ALQEMAM is seeking an Information Security Engineer to join our team in Hail. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in information security, focusing on implementing and maintaining robust security controls. The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting our systems and data from evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain information security controls and solutions.
• Monitor systems and networks for security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents.
• Configure and manage security tools such as firewalls, EDR, SIEM, and IDS/IPS.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies and standards.
• Prepare security reports and recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in development.
• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
• Understanding of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Knowledge of security monitoring and incident response.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are considered an advantage.
