About the Job
We are looking for a Swimming Pool Technician to join the pre-opening of SLS The Red Sea, a luxurious project planned to open in 2025. This position is crucial for maintaining the elegance and safety standards of our facilities.

Job Overview:
As a Swimming Pool Technician, your responsibilities will focus on the maintenance and repair of swimming pools, spas, and related equipment. This includes:
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on swimming pools, spas, and related equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters.
  • Water Quality: Test and adjust the chemical levels in pool water to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of the pool area including skimming debris, vacuuming the pool, and cleaning the deck.
  • Equipment Management: Inspect pool equipment and identify any faults for repair or replacement.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health regulations and hotel policies, while safely handling chemicals.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate maintenance records, including water quality tests and repairs.
  • Guest Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing guest inquiries and requests related to the pool area.

Qualifications:
Candidates should have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school program in pool maintenance preferred.
  • Proven experience in pool maintenance, ideally in a hospitality setting.
  • Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift equipment.

Preferred Skills:
Relevant certifications in pool maintenance and safety awareness are a plus, along with strong customer service skills.
