About the Role

JIGPC- Jazan Integrated Gasification and Power Company is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join its team in Jazan, Jizan. This full-time role focuses on providing advanced technical expertise to enhance the reliability, performance, and availability of critical mechanical assets within a world-class gasification and power generation facility. The successful candidate will lead troubleshooting efforts, drive reliability improvements, and support major maintenance projects to contribute to operational excellence across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of mechanical systems across Gasification, Power Block, Utilities, and Air Separation Unit (ASU) facilities.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of mechanical failures and recommend effective corrective actions.
• Plan and execute major maintenance projects, equipment overhauls, upgrades, and turnaround activities.
• Analyze equipment performance data and identify improvement opportunities using reliability best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Support the adoption of emerging technologies such as predictive maintenance solutions, digital tools, and advanced diagnostics.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance engineering within power generation, gasification, petrochemical, refinery, oil & gas, or similar heavy industrial environments.
• Proven experience supporting major maintenance projects and turnaround activities.

Preferred Certifications

• Certifications such as CMRP, CRL, PMP, OSHA, or NEBOSH are preferred.
