About the Role

Panda Retail Company – Savola Group is seeking a Data Center Specialist to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position is integral to maintaining the robust infrastructure that underpins our digital and business operations, ensuring seamless functionality and security.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to operate and support the data center infrastructure. The specialist will ensure the continuous availability, security, and optimal performance of both physical and virtual environments, which are essential for enabling Panda Retail Company’s critical digital and business operations.

Core Operational Responsibilities

• Operate data center facilities, servers, storage, and network equipment to ensure continuous system availability.
• Monitor data center environmental conditions, including power, cooling, and alarms, to maintain safe operating environments.

Infrastructure Management and Support

• Perform installation, configuration, and replacement of data center hardware to support infrastructure reliability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and hardware failures to restore services and minimize downtime.
• Execute approved maintenance activities, upgrades, and patches to maintain performance and security standards.

Security and Documentation

• Apply access control, safety, and security procedures within data center facilities to protect assets and data.
• Document infrastructure configurations, changes, and incidents to maintain accurate operational records.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams during maintenance and incidents to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Support capacity monitoring and infrastructure improvement initiatives by providing operational insights and recommendations.
