The Role of AC Technician

Sofitel is seeking an AC Technician to join its team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems and related equipment within the hotel environment. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize system breakdowns.
• Replace or repair defective components such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
• Test electrical circuits and components to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Clean and inspect air filters, coils, and other components to maintain air quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests.
• Coordinate effectively with other technicians and departments to complete tasks efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an AC Technician or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to install, maintain, and repair various air conditioning systems.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC system faults.
• Understanding of safety standards and manufacturer guidelines for HVAC equipment.

Work Environment
