About the Role

United Group is seeking a dedicated Control Room Operator to join our team in Yanbu Al Sinaiyah, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to monitoring and controlling plant operations, ensuring the safe and efficient production processes within our facility.

Role Purpose

The Control Room Operator is responsible for overseeing and managing plant activities from a central control room. This involves continuous monitoring of process parameters, responding to operational alerts, and coordinating effectively with field operators to maintain optimal plant performance and adherence to all operational and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate plant processes using SCADA/PLC systems from the control room.
• Continuously observe operating parameters and identify any abnormal conditions or deviations.
• Coordinate closely with field operators for the starting, stopping, and adjustment of equipment and production lines.
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, process deviations, and emergency situations in accordance with established operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed production and operational logs.
• Report equipment abnormalities, process issues, and safety concerns to the relevant teams.
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Support the smooth and efficient production flow of the plant.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Basic understanding of SCADA and PLC systems.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret operating parameters.
• Demonstrated ability to follow operating procedures and safety instructions rigorously.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to perform effectively in a control-room environment.
• Previous experience in a feed mill or industrial plant is considered an advantage.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Yanbu Al Sinaiyah, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence to manage and monitor plant operations continuously.
