About the Role:
The Custom Clearance Specialist at itruck Company plays a vital role in managing customs brokerage processes. You will ensure compliance with regulations and facilitate the smooth import and export of goods. This position requires effective communication with logistics teams and customs authorities to assure timely and accurate clearance of shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Customs Processes: Oversee all aspects of customs brokerage and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Documentation Handling: Prepare and review import and export documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline operations and resolve any issues related to customs clearance.
  • Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with customs authorities to facilitate timely clearance of shipments.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any customs-related issues that may arise during the clearance process.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3+ years in Customs Brokerage and Import/Export processes, including experience in maritime ports.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of customs regulations and requirements.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications or coursework in customs brokerage are a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
