The Housing Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of housing facilities and ensures the safety, well-being, and satisfaction of residents. This position involves supervising staff, coordinating housing assignments, maintaining compliance with policies and regulations, and supporting a positive living environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support housing staff (*, housing assistants, case managers, maintenance personnel).
  • Oversee daily operations of the housing facility or community, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Monitor occupancy levels, assign units/rooms, and maintain accurate records of tenants or residents.
  • Ensure that housing policies, safety procedures, and regulations are followed.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs with appropriate departments or contractors.
  • Respond to resident concerns, conflicts, and emergencies, resolving issues promptly.
  • Assist with resident onboarding, orientation, and transition services as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations.
  • Prepare reports on occupancy, maintenance issues, and resident concerns.
  • Collaborate with case managers, social workers, or external agencies if supportive services are part of the program.
  • Participate in budget planning and cost control for housing operations.
