As an integral part of SSCL, you will play a vital role in overseeing our financial operations and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. Your responsibilities will span various critical areas, as outlined below:
- Role and Responsibilities:
- Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
- Oversee the preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Ensure that the production of periodic financial reports complies with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
- Manage day-to-day Accounting and Finance operations including general ledger postings, account payables, and receivables.
- Handle all Tax, VAT, and Zakat transactions and requirements, in addition to liaising with relevant authorities.
- Audit accounts for compliance with governmental regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary information for annual audits.
- Generate financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries.
- Issue Local Content and Zakat Certificates, VAT reports, and payments.
- Provide recommendations on financial objectives and policies. - Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting from a recognized university.
- 1013 years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience in ORACLE Fusion – ERP.
- SOCPA membership and professional qualifications like CPA or CFA are advantageous. - Required Skills:
- Expertise in IFRS and Zakat & VAT regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer software such as Excel and PowerPoint.
