The Role of Senior DevOps Engineer

Qanoniah is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to manage and scale the infrastructure supporting its AI Legal Assistant. This full-time position, located in Makkah, involves designing, automating, and hardening the platform used by engineers and AI systems. The role focuses on building reliable, secure, and compliant systems for a demanding industry, serving top-tier Saudi enterprises and government entities.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure for Qanoniah's internal and external applications.
Manage and evolve Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent) across all environments.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe and rapid code deployment to production.
Translate business and product requirements into scalable infrastructure decisions, collaborating with development, product, and leadership teams.
Ensure the security, compliance, and auditability of infrastructure according to standards such as SDAIA, NCA, PDPL, ISO 27001, and SOC 2, relevant to KSA.
Drive observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response across services.
Optimize for cost, performance, latency, and reliability, including AI/LLM workloads (GPU infrastructure, model serving, vector databases).
Champion DevOps and DevSecOps culture throughout the engineering organization.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in DevOps engineering or a similar field.
