Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company-Luberef is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Al Madinah, specifically in Yanbu or Medina. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the reliability and integrity of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) systems within a refinery environment. The position emphasizes maintenance excellence, reliability improvement, and safe operations, adhering to Saudi Aramco standards and company requirements.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to support refinery E&I systems, contributing to their sustained reliability and integrity. The Electrical Engineer will play a key part in optimizing maintenance strategies and resolving equipment-related issues to ensure safe and efficient refinery operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, develop, and optimize E&I equipment maintenance strategies based on OEM guidelines and performance requirements.
• Analyze current and historical equipment data to enhance reliability and availability.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and various reliability improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Support project activities, including design reviews, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and energization.
• Ensure the accuracy and currency of E&I documentation, procedures, and specifications.
• Liaise between Maintenance and Projects teams during Management of Change (MOC) and execution phases.
• Review spare parts strategies and maintenance job plans.
• Support contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with safety and company standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A qualified Electrical Engineer.
• Between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Al Madinah, with work locations in Yanbu or Medina. The role involves working within a refinery setting, collaborating closely with operations, maintenance, and project teams.
