Instrument Engineer

About the Role

Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company-Luberef is seeking an Instrument Engineer to join their team. This full-time position is based in the Al Madinah region, specifically covering locations in Yanbu and Medina. The role focuses on ensuring the integrity and reliability of refinery instrumentation and control systems.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to support safe operations and drive continuous reliability improvements within the refinery. The Instrument Engineer will be critical in maintaining the functionality and performance of essential control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review instrumentation maintenance strategies to optimize system performance.
• Maintain and improve system reliability through comprehensive data analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Troubleshoot field instruments and control systems to resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Provide support for various projects, including design reviews, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), loop checks, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain accurate Instrumentation & Control (I&C) documentation and procedures to ensure compliance and operational consistency.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control systems, preferably within a refinery or similar industrial environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company-Luberef, operating in the Al Madinah region, specifically covering sites in Yanbu and Medina. The role requires active participation in refinery operations and project support.
