Storekeeper

About the Role

Virtucruit is collaborating with a prominent mining company in Saudi Arabia to recruit a Storekeeper for their Logistics Department. This full-time position is based in Najran and is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, from identifying operational requirements to coordinating product shipments from suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest level of safety, health, and environmental work standards are maintained.
• Handle material receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform system data entry for all store transactions.
• Update material receipts, stock transfers, and issuance records in ERP/system.
• Ensure proper documentation of delivery notes, Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), and material requests.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to management.
• Arrange and organize materials in the store according to company procedures.
• Conduct periodic stock counts and assist in inventory reconciliation.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and operational departments for material movement.
• Ensure proper handling and safekeeping of company materials and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the store area.
• Assist in the preparation of inventory and stock reports.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and HSE requirements at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

• School or High School Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory management.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of inventory systems, ERP, and MS Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle inventory records and system data entry accurately.
• Good English communication skills, both oral and written.

Work Environment

This role is a full-time position within the Logistics Department of a leading mining company in Saudi Arabia, located in Najran. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various departments including procurement, warehouse, and operations.
