Role Overview

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Static) to join their team in Rabigh. This full-time role focuses on ensuring that daily maintenance activities for mechanical, I/E, and rotating equipment within a petrochemical plant are executed by contractors in compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. The objective is to maintain sector availability, reliability, and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of all assigned maintenance jobs by contractors related to mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation in the petrochemical plant, ensuring adherence to company standards.
• Provide regular reporting within the CMMS system regarding maintenance execution.
• Offer necessary support to the planning and scheduling supervisor.
• Support the company's reliability department with bad actor analysis.
• Prepare weekly reports and discuss findings in maintenance meetings.
• Review and enhance personnel knowledge through job-specific training, coordinating with the Head of HR.
• Ensure compliance with all safety requirements during the job execution phase.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in the equipment used in refining and steam processes.
• Experience in piloting maintenance contracts.
• Strong understanding of safety rules.
