The Opportunity: Team Manager (Seafood)

Almarai is seeking a Team Manager (Seafood) to join its dynamic multinational team. This full-time role is based in Rabigh, Makkah, and King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia. The primary purpose of this position is to manage a self-directing, multi-functional team involved in the manufacture and packaging of seafood products, ensuring adherence to internal and regulatory standards while continuously improving production efficiencies in a safe manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate as part of the departmental management team to achieve business goals and contribute to the development and implementation of strategies.
• Plan and execute plant run times effectively to meet the master production schedule.
• Direct labor resources to ensure required manning levels are maintained in production areas.
• Ensure that regulatory, quality, and hygiene standards are consistently maintained within the department, and that all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
• Assist with the management of departmental health and safety compliance and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Facilitate problem-solving sessions to identify and rectify production issues promptly.
• Manage training needs and evaluate staff performance within the designated area of responsibility.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in dairy/food technology or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience at a supervisory level, reporting to a plant manager.
• Demonstrated experience in operating fully automated Seafood plants.
