About the Senior HSE Engineer Role

John Wood Group PLC is seeking a Senior HSE Engineer to join their team. This full-time position is based in Dhahran, with travel to Ras Tannurah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires experience within the oil and gas, hydrocarbon refinery, and petrochemical industries, specifically with engineering design project experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior HSE Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and implementing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives within projects. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company standards, contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of projects, and supporting the company's commitment to net zero objectives.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess:

• Proven experience as a Senior HSE Engineer.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience in hydrocarbon refinery operations.
• Experience in the petrochemical industry.
• Demonstrated experience with engineering design projects.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position. The primary work location is Dhahran, with expected travel to Ras Tannurah, Saudi Arabia, as required by project demands.
