About the Role

Tangent International is seeking an experienced IN Back Office Engineer to support a major telecommunications project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This contract position requires a technically strong engineer with 5-10 years of hands-on experience in Ericsson IN/Charging Systems, VMware Virtualisation, Linux/Unix, and Oracle Database Administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support, troubleshooting, and restoration for IN/Charging Systems.
• Manage network incidents, trouble tickets, and change requests.
• Perform IN Business Configuration, including tariff and service class implementation.
• Monitor network performance, analyze traffic, and resolve service degradations.
• Carry out software/hardware upgrades, system maintenance, and configuration changes.
• Support network integration, disaster recovery, and capacity planning initiatives.
• Create performance reports and contribute to the improvement of operational procedures.

Mandatory Technical Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Ericsson Charging System nodes: SDP, CCN, AIR, VS, ECMS, OCC, IVR & NgCRS.
• Excellent knowledge of IN Business Configuration, Tariff Management, and RMA Handling.
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix, Oracle Database Administration, and Shell Scripting.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, and High Availability.
• Experience with HP C7000, HP 3PAR Storage, and virtualized Ericsson Charging Systems.
• Knowledge of GSM/WCDMA, Core Network operations, IP networking, and system integration.
• Experience with SDP Geo-Redundancy, disaster recovery, and network performance management.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently. This role requires the capacity to handle critical network incidents and maintain high service availability. Previous hands-on experience with Ericsson IN/Charging Systems is essential for this position.
