About the Role

MEPCSA is seeking an AGT Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to providing technical support for the maintenance, overhaul, and repair (MRO) activities of assigned engine lines. The role also involves developing new MRO capabilities in close collaboration with production operations and relevant functional organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for maintenance, overhaul, and repair (MRO) activities for assigned engine lines.
• Develop new MRO capabilities in collaboration with production operations and relevant functional organizations.
• Perform depot-level training for technicians on disassembly, assembly, and inspection activities.
• Develop engine part and component repair in line with MEPC capabilities.

Process Development and Documentation

• Create and update job routers, detailed work instructions, and bills of material based on military Technical Orders (TOs) or commercial shop manuals for all MRO shop floor activities.
• Develop new processes, specify tools, consumables, and test equipment for the MRO of new engine lines.
• Assist in training for the MRO of new engine lines.

Quality Assurance and Problem Resolution

• Support concession activities for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and perform engineering review of rejected nonconforming materials.
• Work closely with relevant employees to eliminate root causes of problems in MRO development and production processes, and liaise with the OEM where appropriate.
• Review warranty claims and issue investigation reports on the root cause and corrective actions of assigned engine lines.
• Participate in the continuous improvement program (CIP) for enhancements in quality, turnaround time, and cost of MRO processes.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in engine maintenance, overhaul, and repair. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Additionally, the ability to carry out unscheduled tasks and other assigned duties is expected.
