About the Role

Saudi Consulting Services - SAUD CONSULT is seeking an experienced Architectural CAD Draftsman to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves preparing accurate architectural and shop drawings for various construction projects.

Role Overview

As an Architectural CAD Draftsman, you will collaborate closely with architects to translate designs and preliminary sketches into precise drawings. Your work will ensure compliance with approved specifications and codes, covering architectural plans, elevations, sections, and finishing schedules. The role also involves coordinating with other engineering disciplines and managing drawing updates throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural and shop drawings for buildings and projects using AutoCAD.
• Draft floor plans, elevations, and sections.
• Develop architectural details and door, window, and finishing schedules.
• Create ceiling, bathroom, and kitchen layouts.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings, identifying potential clashes.
• Convert hand sketches and preliminary designs into accurate digital drawings.
• Prepare As-Built drawings based on site data.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from architects, consultants, and clients.
• Extract preliminary area and finishing quantities as required.
• Ensure compliance with approved codes and standards, including the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and municipality and Civil Defense requirements.
• Organize and archive drawings and files in accordance with the document control system.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience as an Architectural CAD Draftsman.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing architectural and shop drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Understanding of building codes and standards, including the Saudi Building Code (SBC).

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where you will work as part of a professional team dedicated to architectural and construction projects.
