Architectural Draftsman

About the Role

UCC Holding is seeking an Architectural Draftsman for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and management of architectural shop drawings, fit-out details, and as-built documentation for luxury hospitality projects. The Architectural Draftsman ensures compliance with project specifications, consultant requirements, and Tier 1 contractor standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain architectural shop drawings, fit-out details, joinery, façade, finishes, ceiling layouts, and room detail packages.
• Deliver accurate and timely drawing submissions in line with project schedules and construction requirements.
• Coordinate Architectural, Structural, MEP, Interior Design, and Specialist Contractor drawings to identify and resolve clashes.
• Review subcontractor shop drawings for accuracy, quality, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
• Raise RFIs for design discrepancies, missing information, and technical conflicts.
• Ensure all CAD/Revit deliverables meet company standards, project procedures, and document control requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, submissions, and controlled distribution of the latest approved drawings.
• Manage hard and soft copy records of IFC, approved shop drawings, and technical documentation.
• Update and maintain as-built drawings based on approved site changes, RFIs, sketches, and red-line markups.
• Support project teams with technical drafting and coordination throughout project execution and handover.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman on large-scale building projects.
• Proven experience on luxury hotels, hospitality, high-end fit-out, or mixed-use developments.
• Experience with Tier 1 contractors is highly preferred.
• GCC experience, preferably within Saudi Arabia.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM knowledge preferred.
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, fit-out construction, finishes, joinery, façade systems, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Preferred Project Experience

Candidates with experience in Luxury Hotels, Resorts, Branded Residences, Palace Developments, and High-End Hospitality Fit-Out Projects are preferred for this role.
