The Role of Chief Technology Officer

Foreground is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead the technology vision, architecture, and delivery across all digital platforms. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, and requires over 10 years of experience. The CTO will oversee engineering, product development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity functions, working closely with product, commercial, and executive leadership to align technology with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technology vision, architecture, and delivery for all digital platforms.
• Oversee engineering, product development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity functions.
• Build scalable and secure systems while ensuring delivery discipline and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product, commercial, and executive leadership to align technology with business objectives.
• Build and mentor senior technical leaders.
• Establish best-in-class development practices.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Over 10 years of senior technology leadership experience within SaaS, platforms, or enterprise technology environments.
• Strong architectural expertise and experience in scaling systems.
• Experience managing large engineering teams and complex stakeholder environments.
• Demonstrated deep technical credibility combined with leadership and communication skills.
• Exposure to government or enterprise-grade platforms in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
