Role Summary

SOOR is seeking a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage, support, monitor, and secure enterprise application hosting environments. The engineer will ensure high availability, performance, and security of these critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot IIS and SQL Server administration tasks.
• Support web applications and production environments, ensuring operational stability.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across network, security, application, and database layers.
• Manage SSL certificates, IIS security, authentication, and access controls.
• Contribute to change management, incident management, and root cause analysis processes.
• Work with Apache, Tomcat, Java-based applications, APIs, load balancing, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Participate in backup, disaster recovery, and recovery testing initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Strong experience with IIS, Windows Server, SQL Server, and application hosting.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server, networking, web hosting, and cybersecurity controls.
• Familiarity with industry best practices for system management and security.
