About the Role
As a Cost Engineer at Bechtel, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects stay within budget through effective cost estimating, analysis, and management. This position involves collaboration across various project disciplines for a major infrastructure initiative based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cost estimating, analysis, and control activities.
  • Support the implementation of cost monitoring and control standards.
  • Assist with budget allocation and reporting for specific construction disciplines.
  • Prepare cost data for proposals or contracts.
  • Assist in the development of quantity takeoffs and project codes.
  • Support project trend programs and the application of cost rates.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree or international equivalent, with 25 years of relevant experience or 69 years of equivalent work experience. Previous experience in client representation or project management roles is preferred. Familiarity with software applications like Primavera and Microsoft Office is essential.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost engineering or management in large-scale projects, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
  • Proficiency with cost management and project control software (*, Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP).
  • Excellent analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
