Role Overview

alfanar is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Central Region. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience. The primary purpose of this role is to plan, organize, and control electrical activities within projects, ensuring successful completion in accordance with established schedules, budgets, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) policy constraints set by the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project electrical documents, including methodology, quality assurance, control procedures, engineering, and construction time schedules.
• Prepare and review technical submittals such as designs, specifications, drawings, calculations, method statements, TPIs, and risk assessments for compliance with client, authority, and end-user requirements, as well as local and international standards.
• Oversee and inspect site installation work daily, witness tests, identify non-compliance with construction documentation, and recommend corrective measures.
• Coordinate daily with the Team Leader and other team members to verify, document, and report quality issues of work performed by sub-contractors, and suggest corrective actions.
• Ensure all construction activities at the site run efficiently and review progress.
• Conduct technical meetings and maintain constant follow-up with Client Design and Engineering Divisions.
• Maintain the quality standards of all electrical activities as per the project quality plan.

• Train subordinates and build an effective team.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
• Delegate assignments to subordinates.
• Ensure fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation among subordinates.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Resolve related problems and escalate complex operational issues.
• Ensure quality requirements are met to develop effective quality control and processes, including specifications for products, processes, or related activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
• Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity.
