Job Summary

Alfanar Projects is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its team in Jeddah, Western Region. This full-time position is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the electrical activities of projects to ensure successful completion within established guidelines, schedules, budgets, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) policy constraints, as defined by the Project Manager. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project electrical documents, including methodology, quality assurance, control procedures, engineering, and construction time schedules.
• Prepare and review technical submittals such as designs, specifications, drawings, calculations, method statements, TPIs, and risk assessments for compliance with client, authority, end-user requirements, and local/international standards.
• Oversee and inspect site installation work daily, witness tests, identify non-compliance with construction documentation, and recommend corrective measures.
• Coordinate daily with the Team Leader and other team members to verify, document, and report quality issues of work performed by subcontractors, and suggest corrective actions.
• Ensure all construction activities proceed efficiently at the site and review progress.
• Conduct technical meetings and maintain constant follow-up with Client Design and Engineering Divisions.
• Maintain the quality standards of all electrical activities as per the project quality plan.

Role Accountabilities

• Train subordinates and build a team to ensure effective work execution.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
• Delegate assignments to subordinates.
• Ensure fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation among subordinates.
• Execute planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Resolve any related problems that arise and escalate complex operational issues.
• Ensure quality requirements are met to develop effective quality control and processes, including specifications for products, processes, or related activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
• Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
