ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

About the Role

Duncan & Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead all electrical engineering activities related to the restoration of facility buildings and hangars. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and focuses on ensuring the safe and compliant restoration of power systems.

Role Overview

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the restoration of medium- and low-voltage (MV/LV) power systems, emergency power, and switchgear. This includes ensuring that all systems are safely restored, fully tested, and returned to service in strict adherence to approved designs, applicable codes, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess affected electrical systems on site and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
• Plan and coordinate power shutdowns and electrical isolations in liaison with Operations and HSE departments.
• Develop the electrical technical input for scopes of work, tender documents, and bills of quantities.
• Perform technical evaluations of bidder and contractor proposals.
• Review and approve designs, shop drawings, material submittals, and protection coordination studies.
• Supervise the installation, testing, energization, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality, and compliance with the approved scope and schedule.
• Verify and approve as-built drawings, test reports, and handover documentation.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves working on-site to assess and supervise electrical system restoration projects.
