ELV BIM MODELER (AV ICT SYSTEMS)

About the Role

Duncan & Ross is seeking an ELV BIM Modeler specializing in AV-ICT Systems to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves developing and maintaining detailed BIM models, preparing shop drawings, coordinating with various disciplines, ensuring quality, and providing site support for Audio Visual and ICT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed Audio Visual (AV) BIM models in Autodesk Revit, adhering to project specifications and BIM standards.
• Model AV systems, including LED displays, video screens, speakers, projectors, cameras, AV racks, control equipment, cable tray containment routing, and associated devices.
• Model AV equipment back boxes, mounting plates, brackets, supports, and ceiling-mounted devices.
• Develop and modify Revit families based on approved manufacturer data, equipment dimensions, and technical submittals.
• Prepare AV shop drawings, including equipment layouts, containment layouts, sections, elevations, installation details, and mounting arrangements.
• Review IFC drawings, specifications, and approved material submittals to ensure accurate AV modeling.
• Incorporate Main Contractor and Consultant comments, and update models and shop drawings for resubmission.

Coordination and Quality Assurance

• Coordinate AV equipment locations, containment routes, cable pathways, and installation interfaces with Architectural, Structural, MEP, and ICT disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and resolve spatial conflicts using Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
• Verify equipment clearances, viewing requirements, accessibility, and maintenance spaces.
• Conduct model QA/QC checks for geometry, dimensions, parameters, naming conventions, and drawing accuracy.
• Maintain AV model registers, drawing registers, coordination issue logs, and progress updates.
• Follow the approved BIM Execution Plan (BEP), Employer's Information Requirements (EIR), CDE and ACC workflows, and project BIM standards.

Site Support and Project Deliverables

• Support site technical queries and installation coordination.
• Update as-built models and support asset information handover when required.
• Deliver AV Revit models and coordinated shop drawings.
• Produce AV equipment layouts, cable containment routing, and installation details.
• Provide equipment mounting and support details.
• Generate clash detection updates, coordination reports, and QA/QC records.
• Submit revised shop drawings and models incorporating review comments.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in BIM modeling, specifically with AV-ICT systems.
