We are seeking a Head of Personal Finance to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working full-time.

The Head of Personal Finance Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for leading the Personal Finance (unsecured lending) portfolio for a prominent Retail Banking client. The role entails full ownership of the Personal Finance business, encompassing product proposition, portfolio growth, P&L management, pricing strategy, customer acquisition, and lifecycle management. The Head of Personal Finance will hold end-to-end accountability for the customer journey, from product design and eligibility through credit assessment, fulfilment, servicing, and overall portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Personal Finance P&L, including revenue, growth, and profitability targets.
• Define and evolve the product proposition and pricing strategy for the Personal Finance portfolio.
• Drive customer acquisition strategy across both digital and traditional channels.
• Manage portfolio performance, focusing on asset quality, delinquency rates, and risk-adjusted returns.
• Lead end-to-end journey design, covering eligibility criteria, credit decisioning, fulfilment processes, and servicing.
• Partner with Credit and Risk teams on policy design and portfolio risk appetite.
• Oversee lifecycle management, including customer retention, cross-sell opportunities, and portfolio optimization.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance alignment throughout the Personal Finance journey.
• Lead and develop the Personal Finance team.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in Retail Banking, with significant leadership experience specifically in Personal Finance or unsecured lending.
• Strong understanding of lending economics, pricing strategies, and credit policy.
• Proven experience in owning portfolio management and P&L for a lending product.
• Experience with digital lending journeys.
• Strong grasp of risk and compliance requirements within consumer lending.
• Demonstrated leadership in developing and executing customer acquisition strategies for lending products.

Desired Attributes

• Experience within a GCC or KSA banking market.
• Exposure to digital transformation or fintech partnership initiatives within a banking environment.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders, including Credit, Risk, Compliance, Digital, and Operations teams.
