Interior Designer

About the Role

Reef Group is seeking an Interior Designer to contribute to the design and development of retail stores, offices, and other commercial spaces within the Group. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing interior concepts, space planning, material selection, and technical drawings. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design concepts are executed effectively and align with brand standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and retail interior design, balancing creativity, functionality, brand identity, customer experience, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts for retail stores, offices, and commercial spaces.
• Prepare space plans, layouts, mood boards, material selections, and design presentations.
• Produce and review technical drawings, detailed plans, elevations, and design specifications.
• Develop 3D visualizations and design proposals as required.
• Ensure designs align with brand identity, operational requirements, and customer experience.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Real Estate, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, and other relevant teams.
• Work closely with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and vendors throughout project execution.
• Review shop drawings, material samples, finishes, fixtures, furniture, and lighting proposals.
• Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and ensure compliance with approved concepts.
• Identify and resolve design-related issues during construction and fit-out.
• Support new store openings, renovations, relocations, and refurbishment projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to approved design, quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements.
• Research new materials, design trends, retail concepts, and innovative solutions.
• Maintain organized design documentation, drawings, specifications, and project records.
• Support value engineering without compromising design quality or brand standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in interior design, with a strong focus on commercial and retail projects.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive interior design concepts.
• Proficiency in preparing technical drawings, space plans, and design presentations.
• Experience coordinating with various stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.
• Ability to balance creative vision with functional requirements and brand identity.
