Senior Interior Designer

About the Role

Majed Harasani Architects is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead the design and delivery of luxury residential projects. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a salary range of SAR 18,000–25,000 per month. The ideal candidate will combine strong creative judgment with practical procurement experience and detailed knowledge of furnishings, finishes, fabrics, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead residential interior design projects from concept development through design documentation, procurement, and installation.
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, space plans, material palettes, FF&E schedules, and presentation packages.
• Specify and source furniture, lighting, accessories, fabrics, and finishes, with knowledge of Italian and American brands and suppliers.
• Manage furniture procurement, including supplier research, quotations, specifications, lead times, orders, and delivery coordination.
• Review and approve furniture designs, samples, materials, and finishes to ensure alignment with project design intent, quality standards, and approved budget.
• Present design proposals to clients, respond to feedback, and build confidence in recommended design directions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Review drawings and shop drawings; attend site visits and assist in resolving design, procurement, and installation issues.
• Track specifications, budgets, schedules, and procurement details to support timely project delivery.
• Utilize AI tools to support research, visualization, and workflow, while applying professional design judgment.

Candidate Requirements

• Saudi national.
• At least 5 years of interior design experience, with a strong portfolio of luxury residential projects; 5–10 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with furniture and FF&E procurement, supplier coordination, and reviewing or approving furniture designs, samples, and finishes.
• Strong knowledge of furniture, fabrics, finishes, and FF&E selection, including familiarity with Italian and American furniture brands.
• Confident client-facing presentation skills and the ability to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Fluent in both spoken and written Arabic and English.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop, along with strong working knowledge of relevant design and visualization tools such as SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, rendering software, InDesign, or comparable tools.
• Comfortable using current AI design and productivity tools.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with project teams.

Work Location

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role may involve coordination with projects in Jeddah.
