Maintenance Engineer

About the Role

Holystar Arabia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of CNC machinery and other industrial equipment within a complex manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and enhancing production line efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for manufacturing equipment and production lines.
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of CNC machinery, including laser cutting, punching, and bending machines.
• Maintain and troubleshoot robotics, welding machines, and other industrial equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Monitor maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and maintenance schedule compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and energy consumption.
• Manage critical spare parts and ensure the availability of maintenance consumables.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of maintenance experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on experience maintaining CNC sheet metal machinery, specifically laser cutting, punching, and bending machines.
• Experience with robotics, welding machines, and other industrial production equipment.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with maintenance KPIs, including MTTR and MTBF.

Required Skills

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and technical documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
