Role Overview

The Manager - Fleet Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operational readiness of the bus fleet under contract in Riyadh. This full-time role ensures that all relevant fleet vehicles are maintained in optimal condition, with scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance (PM) completed on time. The incumbent will audit and manage contractor performance to ensure fleet availability, reliability, and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage maintenance contracts with service providers, ensuring all terms and conditions are met and addressing performance issues.
• Ensure maximum fleet availability by monitoring service schedules, downtime, and repairs, working proactively to minimize disruptions.
• Conduct regular audits of contractor maintenance activities to ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Ensure all relevant fleet vehicles undergo regular servicing, preventive maintenance (PM), and necessary repairs according to manufacturer guidelines and company policies.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fleet maintenance, including uptime, service completion rates, and contractor efficiency.
• Monitor maintenance costs and optimize expenses through efficient resource allocation and identification of cost-saving opportunities.
• Liaise with operations, procurement, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of maintenance activities and budget adherence.
• Ensure all buses comply with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and operational standards set by Red Sea Global.
• Prepare and present periodic reports on fleet maintenance status, contractor performance, and critical issues.
• Identify opportunities for improving maintenance efficiency, reducing downtime, and enhancing overall fleet reliability.
• Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
• Apply safety, quality, and environmental management policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of department systems, processes, and practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in fleet maintenance management.
• Demonstrated experience in contract management and auditing service provider performance.
• Proficiency in monitoring KPIs and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and environmental guidelines in fleet operations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role operates within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational excellence in transportation services.
