About Qiddiya and the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Manager IT Security Delivery to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to ensuring the secure and controlled delivery of IT security programs across corporate and asset environments.

Role Overview

The Manager IT Security Delivery will own build readiness, testing orchestration, and controlled handover processes. This position involves coordinating with the Design team for necessary inputs, enforcing gates, resolving defects, and producing audit-ready validation packs for assigned IT Security programs.

Core Responsibilities

  • Operate exit-gate governance across environments, verifying prerequisites such as access, certificates, backups, and rollback plans.
  • Supervise Go/No-Go forums, ensuring documentation of risks, exceptions, and compensating controls with Cybersecurity sign-off.
  • Maintain change calendars aligned to asset windows and blackout periods.
  • Oversee the development of end-to-end test plans covering functional, negative, resilience, and integration scenarios, ensuring observer participation for test credibility.
  • Manage defect triage, assigning owners and severity, tracking fix SLAs, and re-tests.
  • Maintain RAID logs, escalate blockers, and quantify residual risk at release.
  • Supervise the compilation of validation packs (plans, results, evidence, traceability matrices), ensuring versioned storage and approvals, and achieving first-pass acceptance by QA/Excellence.
  • Validate runbooks, monitoring/alerting, and L1/L2 training completion, confirming operational SLOs and DR artifacts.
  • Confirm SIEM/SOAR mappings and case workflows prior to go-live.
  • Facilitate cutover rehearsals, publish communication plans, RACI, and hyper care schedules.
  • Provide weekly readiness dashboards and risk summaries to governance forums.
  • Track change success rates and update checklists accordingly for continuous improvement.

Security Control Evaluation and Implementation

  • Lead the evaluation of IT Security controls, technologies, and solutions to ensure alignment with organizational strategy, Cybersecurity requirements, business priorities, and operational needs.
  • Oversee Proof of Concept activities, including scope definition, success criteria, stakeholder alignment, execution oversight, and outcome reporting.
  • Assess solution suitability based on security effectiveness, integration capability, scalability, compliance alignment, operational impact, supportability, and long-term value.
  • Recommend fit-for-purpose IT Security controls and technology solutions based on outcomes, risk reduction value, operational readiness, and enterprise direction.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or an equivalent field from a recognized and accredited university is required.
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or an equivalent field from a recognized and accredited university is preferred.
  • 6-8 years of experience in a relevant industry, with a majority of this experience in IT security delivery across corporate and asset environments.
