Operations Support Engineer

About the Role

LanceSoft Middle East is seeking an Operations Support Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is critical for maintaining the smooth, secure, and continuous operation of systems within a live operational environment where system uptime and reliability are paramount.

Role Overview

The Operations Support Engineer is responsible for providing essential operational support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. This involves performing installations, configurations, and maintenance tasks for Windows Server and Client systems, as well as diagnosing and resolving issues through log analysis and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for various systems.
• Monitor, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day operational issues to ensure system stability.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Windows Client operating systems.
• Analyze Windows Event Viewer logs and application logs for effective issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot servers, workstations, and peripheral devices.

Work Schedule

This is a shift-based role that includes on-call support to ensure continuous 24x7 operations and maintain critical system availability.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in operations support.
• Demonstrated ability to perform Windows Server and Client installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Experience in reviewing application and system logs to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting servers, workstations, and peripheral devices.
