The Role of Production Engineer

Atheer Connectivity is seeking a Production Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, hands-on manufacturing role is critical as the business transitions from product validation to volume manufacturing. The Production Engineer will be instrumental in ensuring that engineering designs translate into repeatable, high-quality production outcomes. The role requires comfort working closely with external partners and resolving issues directly on the production line to maintain hardware program momentum.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage contract manufacturers and component suppliers on a day-to-day basis.
• Drive hardware builds through EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production, focusing on yield, test coverage, production-line issues, and corrective actions.
• Execute supply-chain activities including BOM management, lead times, allocations, alternate sourcing, and cost reduction.
• Oversee quality processes such as incoming inspection, failure analysis, RMA investigations, 8D reports, and supplier audits.
• Coordinate ECN and ECO engineering changes between the design team and manufacturing partners.
• Support manufacturing test development, RF calibration, and production validation activities, including on-site support for builds and issue resolution at manufacturing partners.

Role Contribution

The Production Engineer will serve as a key owner of the manufacturing side of the business. This involves bridging design, supply chain, quality, and production functions to ensure that builds remain on track and that any problems are addressed quickly and thoroughly.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role, ideally within the telecom hardware sector.
