SAP Basis Administrator

About the Role

The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Saudi Arabia is seeking an SAP Basis Administrator to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves managing, administering, and optimizing the organization’s SAP S/4HANA landscape and supporting infrastructure. The administrator will ensure system availability, performance, security, and business continuity across multiple sites, coordinating regional IT support and technical service providers.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee SAP Basis operations, including database support, system upgrades, backup, and disaster recovery. The role is critical for maintaining the stability and efficiency of SAP systems, supporting business operations, and ensuring secure and compliant access for users.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor, maintain, and support SAP environments, including development, QA, production, and disaster recovery systems.
• Ensure optimal SAP system performance, health monitoring, capacity planning, and high availability of SAP platforms.
• Perform SAP kernel upgrades, patches, support package implementation, transport management, and system refresh activities.
• Manage SAP users, roles, authorizations, and security controls to ensure secure and compliant access.
• Ensure SAP backup integrity, restore readiness, and disaster recovery capability to support business continuity.
• Support SAP HANA database administration, performance monitoring, backup, and basic troubleshooting.
• Provide support for SAP infrastructure hosted on platforms such as Microsoft Azure, including VM, storage, and network dependencies.
• Manage SAP and IT-related incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
• Coordinate with SAP support, cloud vendors, and business stakeholders for issue resolution and project execution.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
• Proficiency in SAP Basis operations, including system monitoring, patching, and upgrades.
• Experience with SAP HANA database administration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, in relation to SAP infrastructure.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic IT environment, collaborating with various internal teams and external service providers to ensure robust SAP system operations.
