About EXP and the Role

EXP Arabia, a multidisciplinary engineering design and supervisory consultant with over a century of experience, is seeking a Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer, Mining. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will join a collaborative Mining team, contributing to practical and innovative solutions for complex mining projects.

Role Overview

This role involves overseeing the development and execution of electrical and instrumentation designs for mining projects. It requires a professional who can manage complex design requirements and contribute to safety reviews, ensuring proper application and execution of design concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the development of design concepts by designers, ensuring proper application and execution.
• Execute complex electrical designs, addressing conflicting design requirements or difficult coordination challenges.
• Perform front-end loading of electrical systems for projects.
• Edit and develop Basis of Design narratives to document project scope.
• Develop electrical one-lines, load lists, and area classifications.
• Participate in HAZOP, PHA, and other safety reviews.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated versatility, experience, and reliability in electrical and instrumentation engineering, specifically within the mining sector.
