About the Senior Engineer Building Technology Systems Role

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Senior Engineer Building Technology Systems to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves serving as an Acting Building Technology Systems (BTS) Lead, with a primary focus on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and security systems. The role is centered on high-profile, mega-scale projects across the region, requiring a professional with deep technical expertise and proven leadership capabilities to guide multidisciplinary teams through complex programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the BTS Lead, overseeing the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of ICT and security systems for mega-scale projects.
• Lead, guide, and review the technical design of ICT and security infrastructure, ensuring compliance with global and local standards such as BICSI, TIA, and MOI, as well as client-specific requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and design assurance to multidisciplinary project teams.
• Manage the integration of ICT and security systems within complex project environments.
• Coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure project alignment and smooth delivery.
• Ensure overall project delivery, technical compliance, and the production of high-quality documentation.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in engineering roles, specifically within building technology systems.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
• Proven capability to manage complex programs and projects from conception to completion.

Technical Requirements

• Deep expertise in security systems and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems.
• A strong technical foundation in relevant building technology systems design and implementation.
• Familiarity with global and local industry standards, including BICSI, TIA, and MOI.
