About the Supervisor Accounting Role

Marriott International is seeking a Supervisor Accounting to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial records and processes within the organization.

Key Accounting Responsibilities

The Supervisor Accounting will be responsible for a range of duties focused on financial accuracy and comprehensive record-keeping, including:

  • Checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
  • Organizing, securing, and maintaining all financial files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information.
  • Classifying, coding, and summarizing numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
  • Preparing, maintaining, auditing, and distributing statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
  • Completing period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
  • Preparing, reviewing, reconciling, and issuing bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
  • Following up on and resolving past due accounts and vendor invoices until full payment is received or the issue is resolved.

Team Coordination and Operational Duties

In addition to core accounting functions, this role involves coordinating with other departments and upholding operational standards:

  • Coordinating tasks and collaborating effectively with other departments.
  • Serving as a departmental role model or mentor.
  • Assigning tasks and ensuring their timely completion to appropriate quality standards.
  • Reporting work-related accidents or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to management.
  • Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Supervisor Accounting position should meet the following requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
  • Experience: 0-1 years of experience in accounting or a related financial role.
  • Supervisory Experience: No prior supervisory experience is required for this role.
  • License or Certification: None specified.

The role requires adherence to company standards and includes certain physical demands:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets.

  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
