Logistics Coordinator

About the Role

Airbus is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a contract position in Saudi Arabia, with locations in Taif and Riyadh. This role involves advising and guiding customers on logistics activities, adhering to contract specificities and best practices. The Logistics Coordinator will be an integral part of the Customer Logistics Team on-site.

Role Context

The Logistics Coordinator will focus on ensuring efficient supply chain operations for aircraft parts and services. This includes managing parts replacements, handling unserviceable returns, and overseeing warehouse management. The position requires a commitment to compliance with aviation, safety, quality, and export control regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Aviation, Safety, Quality, and Export Control Regulations and Procedures.
• Adhere to all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies, and Regulations.
• Coordinate with AHA and AH front office to facilitate on-time deliveries.
• Manage logistic flows from the initial shipment from the supplier to the final delivery of items at the specified location, as per contract terms.
• Act as a liaison between the Customer Logistics and operations departments.
• Provide expert advice to customer staff regarding supply aspects.
• Investigate and expedite logistics issues that may impact fleet availability.
• Respond to Customer queries in collaboration with AHA.
• Provide periodic status updates via reports to the Customer Logistics Manager.
• Apply a continuous improvement approach to all logistics activities.
• Support Customer activities on-site.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
